Analysis
In the poem "Autumn Sonnet (for Dennis)" by the poet Joy. C. Swan:
It talks about cherishing their love as much as possible.Saying how they only have a little time together before they're older and don't have the that unique you love. In line 4 it says "Out spring and summer gone, wont come again" signifies that there're already running out of time. The last ling,line 14 " before cold winter freezes all my charms" she's talking about how she still has a lot of life in her now but he needs to take advantage of it before she gets too old. Overall this poem is fantastic how she describes how time passes and to live in the present and enjoy their sweet taste of young love.
